We've begun planning for the 2023 season and the following are key dates to make note of. These dates are subject to change as details are finalized but are being provided for planning purposes.

The significant change this year for the 10U through 14U Boys program is that we are combining the spring and summer seasons into one. Previously these were separate registrations and separate teams were formed for each season. This year we will conduct the evaluations and form teams in April. These teams will participate in the GNLL spring season (doubleheader games on Saturday or Sunday beginning at the end of April through the end of May) and the YLM summer season (games during the week nights beginning in June through the end of July). RYL hopes that you find this change provides some consistency throughout the season and allow teams and coaches the time to develop that team chemistry.

The 8U Boys program will also just have one registration for the 2023 season. Practices for this age group will tentatively start in April and participate in games organized by YLM during the week in June and July. The 8U Boys program will not be participating in the Dakota Indoor Lacrosse program as part of a spring season (in 2022 this was a separate registration for the 8U spring season).

No changes are anticipated for the girls programs as we head into the 2023 season.

December - Registration for the 2023 Season Opens

January - Try Lacrosse Event held at the Irish Dome, encourage friends to come try out the sport

February - Registration for the 2023 Season Closes

March - Parent Meeting

April - Season Begins

-Age Group Practices, April 2nd on Turf 2, April 5th at the Irish Dome, April 16th on Turf 2

-Evaluation Dates for 12U and 14U Boys are planned for April 12th and April 19th at the Irish Dome. 

-Teams formed for all age levels no later than April 22nd.

-Team practices will begin April 23rd.

April through July - 2023 Season

-8U and 10U boys jamborees 7/22 and 7/23

-12U and 14U boys state tournament 7/29 and 7/30

-Girls state tournament 7/28 - 7/30
