2023 Girls Summer MSLAX Lacrosse League (8U-14U) Details

We are very excited to again offer girls lacrosse in 2023!  The girls will be playing an extended summer season along with neighboring associations including Eagan, Eastview and Apple Valley.  Here are some details:

• Indoor and Outdoor practice/clinics in April and May.
• Outdoor skills, practices, scrimmages and local jamborees in May.
• MSLAX Summer Season begins in June and goes through July.
• MSLAX State Tournament July 28th-July 30th.
• Other tournaments may be added during the season.

Evaluations (12U and 14U only): If we have enough 12U or 14U girls registered for two teams, we will need to hold tryouts to create and A and a B team.  If that happens, tryouts will be administered by an independent third party. Final decisions on team structure and classification will be made by the Board

Eligibility based on following birthdates:

8U:   9/1/14 - 8/31/16

10U: 9/1/12 - 8/31/14

12U: 9/1/10 -  8/31/12

14U:  9/1/08 - 8/31/10

Equipment Needed:

• Lacrosse goggles

• Lacrosse stick

• Mouth guard (colored)

• Tennis shoes

Goalie equipment is provided for all teams.

Uniform Sizing:  For girls uniforms this year, we will conduct sizing. Additional information will be provided at a later date.

******US Lacrosse Association: It is MANDATORY that all participants must be current members of the US Lacrosse Association. Please click on the US Lacrosse link (https://usl.ebiz.uapps.net/PersonifyEbusiness/Default.aspx?TabID=340) to register/renew and pay your $30 fee. Once you have registered/renewed your US Lacrosse number proceed to Rosemount Registration.  You will be required to enter your US Lacrosse number when registering.  Please note if you are a returning player that your registration may not yet be up for renewal; however, you will need to renew prior to registering for the current year.*******

All Clinics will be held at Rosemount High School Turf 2 and Irish Dome

4/2/23 - 3-4 PM @  RHS Turf 2 

4/05/23 - 7-8:15PM @ Irish Dome

4/10/23 - 7-8PM@ RHS Turf 2

4/18/23 - 5:30-6:30 PM @ Flint Hills

4/19/23 - 5:30-6:30PM  @ Flint Hills

4/23/23 - 3-4PM @RHS Turf 2

4/26/23 - 7-8:15 PM@ RHS Turf 2

**Additional practices will be scheduled for May

All 9th and 10th graders will register as "Wait List" for RAAA via Athletechs,  AND High School via Fee Pay/School View until High School tryouts are complete. Once tryouts are completed, if you did not make the High School team, you will be refunded through Fee Pay for the HS registration and will then be prompted to complete registration with RAAA.  Will be discussed in detail at Parent Meeting.

Boys who are in 9th grade should register for the 9th/10th grade team, regardless of birth date.
